I don’t know about you, but with a hectic day-to-day schedule, I tend to become consumed with life’s activities, therefore, making it easy for myself and I’m sure many other moms’ to skip meals or resort to ordering a last minute, and probably unhealthy meal. Can you relate?

Subscribers can make salad selections any time before Wednesday 11 p.m., and orders will be delivered the following Sunday. Farmer’s Fix currently offers a selection of 14 different salads to choose from including gluten-free and vegan options.

Each salad is packed with a colorful and healthy variety of vegetables and fulfilling grains, with no additives or preservatives, which is a major plus for me. I am always trying to steer away from fake food. Salads can be customized to accommodate any food allergies, sensitivity or dietary restrictions. Rest assured, each salad contains approximately 300-500 calories.

Back to School Haircut with Pigtails and Crewcuts

Pigtails and Crewcuts is known for their child-centric salon which brings to life a colorful wonderland experience filled with toys, trains, books, movies, video games and their signature automobile and airplane chairs. My husband and I are usually in Liberty Station area enjoying some church time with our family. One day we just happened to be walking around when we noticed the salon, I immediately fell in love with the trendy atmosphere and the design of the place. I also couldn’t help but notice all the kids so excited and looking so fresh with their new haircuts.

Getting pampered at HDBeauty The Skincare Boutique

Disclosure: I received complimentary services in exchange for my review. All opinions are 100% my own.

I don’t know about you but I love getting pampered. Between getting kids ready and maintaining a household, sometimes I can lose sight of myself. It just so happened I was invited to experience a relaxing and unique opportunity at HDBeauty The Skincare Boutique located in Rancho Bernardo. This opportunity came at the perfect time because my face had been breaking out due to stress and other factors in my life. After reviewing the website I was excited to see the variety of facials HD Beauty had to offer. I had the opportunity at meeting Melanie who is the owner of HD Beauty Skincare, and she was such a sweetheart. She was very informative and down to earth, she knows her stuff when it comes to skincare and beauty. No wonder she was voted San Diego A list #4 in San Diego for 2016.

Wounded Warrior Family Event

Last Weekend my family and I attended an event hosted by the Wounded Warrior Project. This happened to be the same time as our son’s baseball game on MCRD, so timing was a little off for us, but we convinced our boy that he would have a much better time with family and friends. I can’t even explain how much fun we had, especially the kids. Before attending the event, my husband had sent me an email showing what was going to take place, as soon as I seen paddle boarding and canoeing I was convinced. I love attending all the Wounded Warrior Project events because it allows our children to gain a better understanding of those who have sacrificed their lives in order for us to enjoy ours…..there were numerous times I would hear comments from our kids saying, “look mom, that guy has no legs.” There was this one gentlemen that took me and my husband by surprise, we quickly notice that more than half his body was amputated. The beauty of it all was his candid expression and how he was more concerned with living in the moment. This man did all the sports that many of us were doing including paddle boarding. There were surf boards designed for those who had missing limbs….
