Let me start by saying that I love this place! True Food Kitchen is the ideal place to visit if you’re looking for clean and pure ingredients when it comes to dining out. I have come to love this place even more after adopting a whole foods plant-based diet, it has been a little difficult to find restaurants that I feel I can trust, so after looking through yelp I discovered True Food Kitchen and read the positive reviews. The first time I visited True Food Kitchen I didn’t know what to order, so I went off my cousin’s recommendation and ordered the Teriyaki tofu bowl, and let me tell you, it was delicious. The ingredients consisted of quinoa, shiitake mushrooms,  broccoli, carrots, brown rice, and sesame. Aside from the teriyaki bowl I also ordered a Kale-aid, which was made with kale, apple, cucumber, lime, ginger and celery. After raving about this restaurant to one of my friends she insisted we go and check it out, since she had never been there and had the same struggles as me when trying to find a clean and pure food place to eat. The second time around we ordered the Kale and Avocado Dip and let me tell you, it was finger licking good. When it came to the last chip and dip and we both looked at each other and asked, “so are you going to have it?” Knowing dang well we didn’t want to give it up ha-ha. Since my last visit was pretty amazing I knew I could order pretty much anything and be satisfied with whatever. This time around I went for the “Inside Out” Quinoa Burger that was mouthwatering, along with a side of sweet potato hash browns and kale salad, #winning. Not to mention the Root & Remedy Natural Refresher drink that is made with turmeric, beet, carrot, ginger and honey lemonade.
